Moses is evangelist, pastor en vriend van de Stichting. Moses coordineert, observeert en organiseert vanaf 2012 de zaken van Stichting Bulamu indien het bestuur niet in Oeganda is.

John regelt de financien van Feed my Lambs Uganda, de evangelisatie van Moses. In 2018 is John toegevoegd aan de medewerkers van Stichting Bulamu. Hij regelt de betalingen van de stichting aan het HTFO project en houdt hiervan de financiele verantwoording bij

Tetta startte met het ondersteunen van de studie van John. Nu John zelf kinderen van de straat helpt, door middel van zijn muzikale capaciteiten, steunt Tetta zijn werk en de kinderen onder de One Love Group. One Love Group is een organisatie in de sloppenwijken van het noorden van Kampala

2018

Ambassadeur Makerere

Femke is in MALAWI geweest in 2017 en heeft haar hart gevuld met Afrika. Nu wil ze verder helpen middels het inzetten van haar muzikale talenten. Ze heeft een rap geschreven voor Bulamu en gaat daarmee sponsors werven voor de school in de sloppenwijken van Kampala

2018

Koen kwam in aanraking met Isaiah, de directeur van Help the Future Organization in het zuiden van Kampala. Vanaf dat moment zet hij zich in voor het onderwijs en scholing van HTFO

 

Zittingstermijn

De statuten van Stichting Bulamu schrijven voor dat het bestuur een rooster opstelt voor de zittingstermijn van bestuurders. Na de zittingstermijn kunnen bestuursleden zonder beperking per direct herkozen worden en hun functie als bestuurslid voortzetten. De zittingstermijn van bestuursleden is statutair vastgesteld op drie jaar.

Wat doet en deed het bestuur van Stichting Bulamu

Met beleving in hun geloof, empathie voor jongeren en behoeftigen en liefde voor Afrika, hebben René en Jolanda Nieuwenkamp in 2010 Stichting Bulamu opgericht. Zij werden daarbij ondersteund door 3 gepassioneerde gelovigen, die in de loop van de tijd hun focus naar andere gebieden hebben verlegd. Het enthousiasme in het werk van de Heer, bij René, Jolanda en Bryan strekt verder dan Nederland. Dit heeft geleid tot inmiddels een tiental reizen naar Oeganda. De passie en liefde wordt gedeeld door Bryan, die een opleiding volgt in het kader van hulpverlening en werken met jongeren uitvoert. Dit heeft er toe geleid dat hij in 2015 is toegetreden tot het bestuur. 

Vanaf 2010 heeft Stichting Bulamu veel kunnen betekenen. Onze ervaring met Oeganda is gestart op Bulamu Children's Village, waar we regelmatig in aanraking kwamen met kinderen die daar hun jeugd en scholing hadden afgemaakt en niet wisten wat ze verder met hun leven aan moesten. Voor een aantal van deze kinderen hebben we een opstapje kunnen betekenen in coaching d.m.v. gesprekken en  financiele middelen, het zoeken naar een sponsor en het koppelen van contacten.

In de villages hebben we behoeftigen kunnen helpen met het bouwen van sanitaire voorzieningen, het starten van kerken en zelfs met het starten van een service tot het verstrekken van leningen en micro credieten.

Steeds vaker gaan zie we de vrucht van deze ondersteuning. In oktober 2016 is Fred afgestudeerd, begin 2016 heeft Happy meegedaan aan de verkiezingen voor een overheidsfunctie, Henri heeft via contacten aan de universiteit in Kampala een groeiend aantal Art Students onder zijn hoede en de wereldwinkel in Woudenberg heeft in 2016 een donatie gedaan voor Beth Elisha. In 2017 is pastor Moses getrouwd, hij verwacht in 2018 zijn eerste kindje. In 2018 trouwt John en start stichting Bulamu met het registreren voor de NGO status. We zijn een stipje op de kaart van Oeganda en zijn daar erg blij mee.

Onze grootste projecten op seculier gebied betroffen het bouwen van een varkensstal op Bulamu Children's Village, het ondersteunen van de leerkrachten, het voortbestaan van de school en het leven van mensen in de sloppenwijken van Makerere in Kampala en het volledig onderhouden van een gezin met 9 kinderen in Matuga.

Onze zendings en evangelisatie missies strekten zich uit op de Buvuma Eilanden in lake Victoria, in Nakasongola, Kyabukyimby, Hoima, Kampala, Jinja en zelfs in Nairobi, Kenya. Missies waarbij we ziekenhuizen, gevangenissen, scholen en villages bezochten, op de radio te horen waren en speciale momenten doorbrachten met doven en minder valide byzondere personen.

We voelen ons gezegend dat we dit werk kunnen doen en danken de Heer die door de sponsors deze ondersteuning mogelijk maken.

Remuneration policy

Stichting Bulamu does not pay for activities of board members. Gifts and sponsorship is used for dedicated goals and projects. Common gifts, as well of 10% of all dedicated gifts are used for administration. Expenses of board members in Uganda will be paid by private gifts from these members, supplemented with specific donations, to be decided by the board.

Ugandan ambassadors will be compensated for transport costs, incidental meals and periodic life allowances

Financial transactions

Projects are paid for in Uganda to support local craftmanship and local coordinators. Transactions take place via Western Union and Bank accounts.

What is our goal to collect your information?

This Personal Information will be used to develop our business and the services we provide. In principle its obvious that we need your details when you are one of our sponsors. We need your information to receive your donations via our banking system. Besides your payment details we need your name and email address for sending you news letters and for retargeting our advertisement.

As soon as you put your details in any of our forms, mails or requests, we will use your information for that specific target.

At any time you can ask for your personal information in our administration and website databases. At any time you may request us to remove all your information from our website and databases.
If you approved for our newsletter in the past, or even from now on, and want us to take you from our list, your request will be honored within 4 weeks time and all your information will be properly removed.

Currently your personal details are kept in our mail system via the servers of MailChimp. 
MailChimp servers are located in the United States of America. Ther is a possibility that your details will be used and stored in the USA, based upon the EU-VS Privacy Shield Framework. More information about the privacy statement of MailChimp is to be found here. 

We will only use your Personal Information for the purposes for which we collected it unless we reasonably consider that we need to use it for another reason and that reason is compatible with the original purpose. Sponsorship at Stichting Bulamu   

At agreement of a donation or sponsorship towards our NGO, your details will only be used in a separate database, not web based, used to send your invoice details to the ING bank in the Netherlands. Your details will not be sold, neither used for other purposes

Information may be held at our offices and our internet hosting service providers, Our websites are SSL secured to secure a proper Cyber Security level.
 

Tracking and analytics information

Analytics

We use multiple analytics systems such as Google Analytics to collect statistical information about the number of visitors to our Website. This information includes, pages visited and content searched. We use this information to maintain and improve our Website and the services we provide and to analyse and understand what is of interest to our Website visitors, so we can improve and tailor the content and this data will not directly or indirectly reveal your identity. How long information will be kept

Your rights with respect to your Personal Information

Stichting Bulamu and ANBI

ANBI is a used by the Dutch government and taxes to make a statement for NGO's and foundations. ANBI is formed by the four letters of Algemeen Nut Beogende Instelling, meaning that the ANBI foundation works in field of public benefit. Stichting Bulamu received the ANBI status in oktober 2010, directly after the foundation took place.

Jolanda Nieuwenkamp traveled to Uganda in 2009, her first time to visit our sponsor children. Uganda remained as a surrealistic dream, resulting in a second sponsor trip in April 2010 and a third trip together with husband René and child Bryan in august 2010.

In 2010 we decided to focus on Uganda by founding a foundation called Stichting Bulamu (the foundation for life). After more than five years of existence, we look back to many projects that were effectuated in many trips from Europe to Africa

 

2009

  • Our first HIV sponsor child receives the message that all blood values improved
